Elizabeth Park-West Hartford, CT Wedding {Amy & Dave} | By: Kimberly Lynn Photography

When I photographed Amy and Dave back in the winter for their engagement session I knew I had connected with some amazing people who were head over heels in love…. Yes of course all engaged couples are, but there was a genuine smile from both of them that assured me that this was the real thing…. So there is no surprise that the glow on their faces on their wedding day was any different.  Amy, a cool, calm and collected bride, was stunning from head to toe.  She had this amazing gown that just sparkled when the light hit it and an excited personality to go with.

Amy and Dave decided to meet before the ceremony for photos at the ever beautiful Elizabeth Park in West Hartford, CT.  As I approach Dave to find out how he’s doing, I assure him that his bride to be looks amazing, and he responds with, “I’m a lucky guy.”  The tone of his voice and the look in his eye told me he truly meant it and he just couldn’t wait to see his bride.

As the couple glanced at each other for the first time on their wedding day, their family and bridal party, stood around as the couple shared a special moment.

The ceremony was short and sweet with so many personal touches from why they chose Elizabeth Park, to a custom wine box, it really was a special ceremony.

The happy couple was ready to party, they hit the dance floor and pretty much didn’t leave all night.  I just love when both the bride and the groom dance, and have a great time.  There wasn’t a dull moment there, everyone up and having a great time.

Dave you certainly are a lucky guy to have a great girl like Amy, but I’m a lucky gal to be included on such a special day.  Thanks for letting me share it with you both!  Here is your slide show, all photos… and my favorites… Enjoy!

Boys, boys, boys- Newborn Photography | By: Kimberly Lynn Photography

I have been blessed with lots of beautiful newborns lately and 95% of which have been boys!!!  Of course I’m not complaining being a mother of a boy, there’s nothing better, but it’s crazy how many boys I’ve seen!  This little angel was a special one as I photographed his parents engagement, wedding, maternity and now newborn session.  This sweet couple of course produced this bundle of sweetness.  I got to meet him at 3 weeks old, which worked out well as we got lots of alert shots, and after lots of fighting it, he finally fell asleep giving us those beautiful “newborn” shots that we hoped for… the best of both worlds I say!  I’m so lucky to have such wonderful clients and love having this opportunity to watch these babies grow up.

Shanielle and Joe, your son is precious and I hope you enjoy every moment of him!  Here are my favorites, the slide show, and all photos…. Enjoy!

Welcome Newborn Baby Boy ‘N’! | By: Kimberly Lynn Photography

I was so excited to meet baby ‘N’, as his mommy and I had corresponded several times before his arrival.  This little guy was prompt… arriving exactly on his due date J  At just 8 days old I met him, and his beautiful big sister, ‘A’, who was just awesome.  She was such a good big sister and handled the whole shoot really well, which can’t be easy for a 3 year old.  She was a blast to photograph as well.  This handsome boy was picture perfect leaving us with my favorites, all photos and of course the slide show.

Thanks Heather for letting me photograph your beautiful family!  Enjoy!

Karem and Francis Wedding- Firebox Restaurant – Hartford, CT | By: Kimberly Lynn Photography

I “met” Karem through an email the week of her wedding asking if I was available on Friday for her wedding.  As she told me about herself and her fiancé and the details of their wedding I was so anxious to meet them.  As Karem and I corresponded via email throughout the week, she truly was my kind of gal, as she emailed me the photo of her sexy outfit and killer shoes…. We instantly clicked!  As I arrived at the Firebox Restaurant in Hartford, I awaited the little mini cooper to deliver this happy couple.  When Karem stepped out of the car, I became super excited to photograph this stunning woman and her handsome groom.  We took some time before the ceremony, to take some photos and then were greeted by their brother and sister in law who came to join and support them.  The ceremony was like nothing I’ve seen, yet it seemed so right for them.  There was no actual exchanging of vows or rings, but a simple signing of the paper and bam.. it was done.    It just shows that you don’t need a fancy ceremony or big event to show what you’re there for, love.  I had a great time with this family and am thankful for the opportunity to get to know another great couple! Here are my favorites, Enjoy!

Newborn Photographer Kimberly Lynn Photographer captures 3 week old

Amy and John brought their little boys, ‘J’ & ‘M’ to the KLP studio after hearing about me through a living social deal.  These little guys were adorable.  ‘J’ was the big brother at 3 years old, to ‘M’ who was almost 3 weeks and a tiny 6lbs!!!  This little peanut was so tiny!!  I loved watching how ‘J’ held his little brother and kissed him, it has to be so hard for an older sibling to accept that new part of the family but ‘J’ seemed to handle it really well.  Here are my favorites, all photos, and the slide show…. Enjoy!
